In late May, Google shared a roadmap of upcoming improvements for the Health app after the big redesign. After four Google Health updates, here’s what’s left on the list.
Google listed eight focus areas, with most of them split into Bug Fixes and Improvements.
Under Exercise Tracking, Google still has to “improve the number of exercises that Fitbit Air automatically detects.” At the moment, activity detection covers: Walk, Run, Bike, Sports, Elliptical, Rowing machine, and Stationary bike.
Outstanding in Nutrition and Calorie Tracking is “improve goal-setting and progress tracking as we know this is an area where many of us have specific patterns and routines.”
For Sharing your data, Google needs to “add support for sharing data back to Apple Health,” and “enable sharing of medical records with Smart Health Links.”
Google Health Coach has the bulk of remaining improvements, with just two items completed:
