Apple TV subscribers can now watch the first two episodes of the new season of “Stick,” starring Owen Wilson (Midnight In Paris), Rhea Seehorn (Pluribus), and Timothy Olyphant (Justified), among others. Watch the trailer below.
The first two episodes of the second season of “Stick” are now available to stream on Apple TV.
“Stick” premiered last year and quickly drew comparisons to other fan-favorite Apple TV comedies like “Ted Lasso” and “Shrinking,” thanks to its mix of humor and heartfelt moments.
In addition to its recurring cast, which includes Peter Dager (Insidious: The Red Door), Lilli Kay (Your Honor), and Marc Maron (Are We Good?), the second season also welcomes Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul), who recently won her first Emmy for her leading role in Apple TV’s Pluribus.
Here’s Apple TV on what “Stick” fans can expect from the new season:
In season two, Santi takes the next step in his pursuit of professional golf, only to discover how quickly the game changes when talent becomes expectation. As Santi chases his dream, Pryce finds himself wondering what might still be possible for him. Urged on by his former rival Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant), Pryce does something nobody expects: he bets on himself, launching an improbable comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. But the road back proves far harder than he imagined. And the closer Pryce gets to the golfer he once was, the more he is forced to confront why he never fulfilled the promise everyone once saw in him. With brilliant new coach Amanda (Rhea Seehorn) and trusted caddie Mitts (Marc Maron) in his corner, Pryce sets out to prove — to the golf world and, more importantly, to himself — that maybe he really was as good as everyone always said he was.
Apple TV is available for $14.99 per month or as part of the Apple One bundle. It features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking, and Silo.
