iPhone Duo has only been available for a couple weeks, but Apple keeps improving the product with software enhancements. The latest arrives in the iOS 27.3 beta via a convenient keyboard update.
If you’re one of the fortunate early adopters who managed to get an iPhone Duo on or near launch day, you may have noticed that changes keep arriving via software updates.
iPhone Duo shipped with iOS 27.1, but just a few days later iOS 27.2 arrived and added Apple Pencil support and Edge Light for video calls.
Now just about one week later, the iOS 27.3 beta has introduced even more changes.
Reachability lets you slide outer display content to the left or right to make it more reachable. And as highlighted by Beta Profiles on X, the keyboard has gotten an improvement too.

The keyboard refresh with narrower keys and smaller font makes it easier than before to type on the iPhone Duo’s outer screen, especially one-handed.
It’s a subtle difference, but one that early testers have found a clear upgrade.
By combining keyboard changes with Reachability, iOS 27.3 offers a noteworthy improvement to the one-handed iPhone Duo experience.
