iCloud+ includes a lot more than additional storage, and one of the service’s perks for subscribers—custom email domains—just got even better.
When creating a new email account, you can always go with a standard @gmail.com or @icloud.com domain. But there’s also a more personalized option.
Third-party services offer custom email addresses at a monthly cost. But unbeknownst to many, iCloud+ lets you create custom email addresses at no extra cost when you own the domain.
With iCloud+, you can set up email addresses that end in something personal to you or your business. It’s one of the service’s most underrated perks, and it just got better.
As detailed by pdfu on X, Apple has now increased the number of email addresses you can create per custom domain.
iCloud+ now lets you use up to 10 personalized email addresses per custom domain.
Previously, you were limited to just 3 personalized addresses per domain. The higher limit of 10 addresses is a big expansion that business owners in particular should appreciate. I’ve also seen plenty of families set up custom domains for their family members, and the higher limit will come in handy for that use case too.
Custom email domains with iCloud+ are available for all subscribers, and you can learn how to set them up here.
