Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 specs leak with Snapdragon chip, 800 mAh battery

Ahead of their debut in just over a week, yet another leak details the full specs of Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2.

While they look very similar to past models, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 look like bigger upgrades when you get to see the whole picture, as there are considerable upgrades on the spec sheet, as detailed by WinFuture.

Both smartwatches get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset, announced early this year, marking the first time Samsung is skipping Exynos in a Galaxy Watch. That’s combined with 2GB of RAM across the board.

Beyond that, the base Galaxy Watch 9 only has a couple of noteworthy upgrades. The potential addition of a 64GB model, a slightly bigger battery in the 44mm model, and Bluetooth 6.0, as well as Wear OS 7 / One UI 9 out of the box. There are some specs we can’t see, like charging speed, where other upgrades might lie.

Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is a much bigger step up, with a huge battery upgrade from 590 mAh on the last two models compared to a whopping 800 mAh on the new one.
