Amazon has cut $50 off the newest Ring Floodlight Cam Wired, bringing it down to $149.99 from its $199.99 RRP. That is a 25% discount relative to the recommended retail price, and it is the first time Amazon has discounted this product, so this is a good moment to grab it.
This is the newest model, and you may also see it listed as the Floodlight Cam 2K. It records at 2K resolution, a step up from older 1080p models for sharper detail. Along with live video, it includes two-way talk and a built-in siren, so you can check in on what is happening outside and respond through the Ring app.
Other key features include custom motion zones, motion alerts in the Ring app, and support for the wider Ring and Alexa ecosystem. That makes it a strong fit for anyone already using Ring devices or Alexa at home. Just note that Ring keeps some higher-end features, like 3D Motion Detection and Bird’s Eye View, for the Pro version rather than this standard Wired model.
