Apple Creator Studio's latest updates add selection tools to Pixelmator Pro for iPad, new editing options for iPhone 18 Pro video, and changes across its productivity apps.
It's time to update Apple Creator Studio. The latest release touches nearly every app in the collection, from video and image editing to presentations and spreadsheets.
Pixelmator Pro for iPad now has Select and Mask controls for refining selections around difficult edges, such as hair and fur. On Mac and iPad, the app also gains sports, business, and podcast artwork templates.
Final Cut Pro and Motion on Mac can apply Cinematic mode effects to video captured natively on iPhone 18 Pro. In Final Cut Pro, editors can change focus points and depth of field directly in the timeline.
Compressor can convert footage with the new Cinematic mode effects to the previous Cinematic mode format. It also adds HEVC and MPEG-4 export presets designed for sharing projects on social media.
Subscribers also get new templates and themes in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. Keynote's Apple Intelligence-powered slide generation can now create images for a presentation.
All three iWork apps let users request access to shared files. Pages for Mac adds a reading and writing Screen View, and Numbers gains trigonometry, statistics, and logic functions.
Freeform boards now adapt to Dark Mode, while folders help organize boards and invite collaborators. Users can also request access to shared boards and add content through Shortcuts.
Apple Intelligence Writing Tools can rewrite, proofread, and summarize handwritten notes. In visionOS 27, users can pull board items into their space and view 3D models together.
Launched in January, Apple Creator Studio is a collection of creative and productivity apps. It lies somewhere between Adobe's Creative Cloud creative suite and Microsoft 365's productivity apps.
Apple Creator Studio costs $12.99 per month or $129 per year. New users can score a one-month free trial.
Education pricing drops it even lower, to $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
