Included in today’s macOS Tahoe 26.7 Release Candidate is a short video that appears to show Visual Intelligence in action on Apple’s rumored camera-equipped AirPods. Watch it below.
MacRumors discovered a short video included in today’s macOS Tahoe 26.7 RC in which a man wearing AirPods appears to ask Siri to remember the book he’s looking at, as Siri’s voice-over says:
With Visual Intelligence, your world becomes savable. See something you like? Just ask me to save it for later.
In the video, the cameras themselves aren’t visible, and the earbuds look very similar to the current AirPods Pro. The most noticeable difference is the stem, which appears somewhat thicker.
Aaron Perris has also published the same video on X:

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously reported that Apple could launch AirPods with cameras as early as this year under the codename B790. Earlier today, MacRumors also found references to B790 in the macOS 26.7 RC, including code for an “image stream.”
Interestingly, these AirPods are reportedly separate from another camera-equipped model Bloomberg says Apple has been developing under the codename B798, which is currently expected in 2027.
Given Apple’s decision to include this demo in macOS 26.7 RC, it is highly likely that these camera-equipped AirPods will be announced next month during the iPhone event.
