Google Antigravity Googlebook app hits the Play Store
Ahead of the Googlebook launch, Google Antigravity is now available in the Play Store.
Antigravity is Google’s agent-first development platform, with version 2.0 released at I/O 2026 in May. It serves as a “dedicated mission control to work alongside, steer, and customize agents that operate autonomously in the background.”
After creating macOS, Windows, and Linux versions, Antigravity is now available on Android with a native interface. It interacts with the Linux environment available on the new laptops. You can “Create and deploy apps right on your Googlebook.”
The package name is com.google.android.apps.antigravity, and the app is currently on version 2026.09.23.988012583.
That said, it’s currently only available on Googlebook OS. The interface might work on tablets and foldables, but it’s unclear if Google designed it for smaller phone screens.
The interface looks similar to the other desktop versions, but it remains to be seen whether it will retain feature parity given how quickly the other apps are updated with major features on a weekly basis.
Antigravity on Googlebooks is part of Google’s push to make the new platform suitable for developers. You can also just install the Linux version of Antigravity on Googlebooks, along with Claude Code and OpenAI’s Codex. Additionally, Google advertised the ability to install the Antigravity CLI via the Googlebook terminal.
