With OnePlus pulling out of the North American market, getting your hands on its next flagship will be quite difficult. But that doesn’t mean people have stopped wanting one. In our recent poll, a whopping 93% of respondents said they’d at least consider buying the OnePlus 16 if it were available in their market. That’s a lot of enthusiasm for a phone many people might never be able to purchase officially.
And I can see why. The OnePlus 16 is already shaping up to be an exciting phone, at least based on the rumors. We’re reportedly looking at Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, a massive 9,000mAh battery, and a 165Hz display that could push to 185Hz while gaming. That’s a pretty tempting combination. Of course, importing the OnePlus 16 could still be an option if you’re determined to get one, but that comes with its own set of considerations.
