Earlier this year, Twelve South debuted the new Valet accessory, which it described as a “wireless charging station and personal essentials tray.”
Now, Twelve South has expanded the Valet lineup with a smaller option that features MagSafe and Qi2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W speeds.
The first version of the Valet announced earlier this year measured in at 7.5 inches, giving you space to drop your phone, keys, wallet, glasses, and more. The new version of Valet, however, comes in with a dramatically smaller footprint at 4.25 inches.
Here’s how Twelve South describes the ultra-premium design of the Valet:
Built as a beautiful home object first and a sophisticated wireless charger second, Valet blends warm materials with modern precision to create a calmer, more intentional form factor that works in any place in the home – from the entryway console to the kitchen to the nightstand.
The soft, square charging pad aligns with the leather tray’s architectural lines. At the same time, the weighted zinc alloy base keeps everything grounded and organized.
In terms of functionality, the smaller Valet has plenty of power to charge your iPhone. It also has an extra USB-C port built in so you can easily charge another accessory:
The 4.25-inch Twelve South Valet is available to order now for $129.99 in three different color combinations. It’s pricey, but it’s a beautiful place to drop your phone to charge and also drop your glasses, wallet, or keys.
