X Money officially launches in the US with Apple Wallet support after invite-only beta

X has officially launched X Money, which includes Apple Wallet support, moving the service beyond its invite-only beta and beginning a rollout today.

The company says X Money is rolling out to Premium and Premium+ subscribers in the United States.

X Money combines a deposit account, peer-to-peer payments, and a Visa debit card inside X. Users can instantly send, receive, or request money from others on the platform without fees or limits.

Premium+ subscribers can earn up to 6% APY, while Premium subscribers can reach that rate after meeting direct-deposit requirements. Eligible X Card purchases earn 3% cash back.

A virtual X Card is issued automatically and can be added to Apple Pay through Apple Wallet. Users can also order a physical metal card, personalize how their name appears, and choose whether to include their X username.

Deposit accounts are held at Cross River Bank, Member FDIC. You can learn more about X Money here.

New users may receive a $15 welcome deposit for joining the service.
