A new limited-series crime drama executive-produced and starring Hugh Laurie is set to ring in the new year on Apple TV.
The eight-episode series follows Felix Carmichael, a crime boss betrayed by someone inside his own firm. Sent to the notorious Staplehurst prison, he'll need to resort to brutality if he hopes to make it out.
This isn't Laurie's first time on Apple TV, either. The "House M.D." veteran previously joined Apple TV drama "Tehran" during its third season.
In addition to Laurie, the series also stars Thandiwe Newton ("Westworld"), Fionn Whitehead ("Dunkirk"), Gina McKee ("My Policeman"), Hazel Doup ("Say Nothing"), Elliott Heffernan ("Blitz") and Stephen Dillane ("Game of Thrones"). The series is created, written, and executive produced by "Hijack" creator George Kay.
The series will premiere on January 6 with the first two episodes. Remaining episodes will premiere every Wednesday through February 17.
"Wanted Man" joins other acclaimed Apple TV dramas, such as "Criminal Record," which saw its second season premiere in April.
