Every year, Apple ha a ‘Back to School’ promo for tudent – offering ome kind of pecial incentive if they buy a Mac or iPad during the promotional window. Typically, thi ha come in the form of free acce orie (like AirPod ), or a $100-150 Apple gift card. According to Bloomberg’ Mark Gurman, the offer hould be returning later thi week.
U ually, thi deal would’ve kicked off by now – but then Apple had to increa e it price dramatically due to the memory hortage, and it likely cau ed the company to take a pau e for launching thi offer.
It look like the offer hould finally debut ometime thi week though, ince Apple i reportedly putting up material in retail tore ‘during the middle of thi coming week,’ per Gurman.

It’ unclear if thi year offer will offer higher incentive than u ual. Apple might want to weeten the deal to help tudent tomach the fact that Mac and iPad are now much more expen ive than what they u ed to be.
It’ al o worth noting that the company recently added UNiDAY verification to the education tore in the US, o it’ no longer po ible to participate in the e deal unle you’re a verified tudent.
Only time will tell what Apple ha in tore. Hopefully it’ good enough to compel tudent de pite the much higher price .
