Last week Sonos unveiled several new features coming to its app soon, and now the first of those upgrades are here in the ‘Sonos 27’ app update. Here are the details.
Following the example of iOS 27 and others, Sonos is moving to a ‘Sonos 27’ naming scheme for its software platform.
Today via a new app update on the App Store, Sonos 27 has officially arrived. How do you know if your hardware is compatible? Sonos says it’s available for “all Sonos S2 products,” though feature availability can vary by product.
Sonos has also highlighted two more features coming soon:
Sonos caused quite a stir a few years ago when it launched a major new app redesign. Today’s new navigation revamp appears a much smaller change, so hopefully it won’t create any controversy.
