A a quick recap, United Airline officially ended it deal with T-Mobile back in April. Thi wa a direct re ult of United forming a partner hip with Starlink to begin offering it own complementary in-flight Wi-Fi ervice. It’ expected that United will offer thi benefit on all of it flight by 2027.
United Airline cu tomer recently began receiving notification that the T-Mobile benefit would end oon. Specifically, the end of the perk wa cheduled for July 13, which i tomorrow. So you have the re t of today to u e your free Wi-Fi before you’ll have to tart paying for it.
United i n’t the only airline making uch move . Thi i part of a bigger hift in the indu try, where the e companie are exploring way to improve and expand upon their premium ervice and loyalty-driven offering . However, once United fully roll out thi benefit, it will be one of the fir t major US airline to extend uch a ervice to it ba ic loyalty member at no co t.
