Of all the products being shown off at IFA 2026 in Berlin this week, some spoke more to us than others. Dyson's CameraJet toothbrush-and-flosser combo stood out to us for a variety of reasons, both good and bad. Nobody wants a livestream of their mouth (and that's not the main selling point here), but surely everyone can appreciate a product meant to simplify the tedium of a daily oral hygiene routine? No? Just me? Alright then.
Dyson is also poised to unveil more gadgets in cleaning, purifying and beauty, at an event it's calling Dyson Unveiled. Our UK bureau chief Mat Smith is on the ground in Berlin, scouring the showfloors and various press events to give us his in-person impressions of all the new tech fare this week. Him and I will cover Dyson's event live here. The company's founder James Dyson is expected to start his presentation at 4:30PM CET, which is about 10:30AM ET. We'll be starting this liveblog just a bit before that, at about 9:30AM ET.

Well well well, after I posted that summary I see that commenter "TechEnthusiast" is asking about the number of products actually announced by Dyson this week. I think we should clarify that Mat's maths might include different SKUs and sizes? We have one toothbrush, one Pencilvac, three robovacs, two to three purifiers and a hair styling tool.

It sounds like Dyson's spin on the Genius Bar. Naturally, with all the moving parts, plenty of things could go wrong with a vac, a robovac or… a toothbrush?
We're going into a servicing service that would rezhuzh devices, making them like (well, closer to) new.
Hmmm how is that different from the existing My Dyson app… ahhh…
It sounds like a combination of customer service, tutorials and repair support.
Dyson is pulling a kind of Apple move. MyDyson, a newcustomer platform. "Never without my Dyson" is the motto.
The new beatuy devices here have universal voltage, so they should work pretty much anywhere.
It's alright, I have a ton of hair and can weigh in.
The irony of someone with my hairline writing about these products isn't lost on me.
And we're onto a new hot air brush built to avoid damaging hair from uneven heat distribution or from being simply way too hot. It's got pivot flex bristles that flex up to 90 degrees.
New hair straighteners: CoolShine, with its own cooling attachment. It has sealed heat-extracting pipes containing distilled water. It all reduces heat exposure.
