Apple TV has released the first trailer for "Last Seen," its upcoming thriller starring Patrick Brammall, ahead of the series premiere on September 9.
In "Last Seen," police detective Ian Ridley's daughter vanished 11 years ago without a trace. Then, a distress call from a teenage girl convinces Ridley she may be Maggie and renews his search for his daughter.
The series is based on CWA John Creasey Dagger Award-winning author Ryan David Jahn's book, "The Dispatcher." The first two episodes will premiere on Wednesday, September 9, and new episodes will release Wednesday through October 7.
Apple TV also shared a two-minute trailer for the series on its YouTube channel.
It stars Gotham Award winner Patrick Brammall as Ridley. Alongside Brammall, the cast includes Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Chloe Jean Lourdes, Zahra Newman, Maxine Peake, and Jessica Wren.
"Last Seen" was entirely filmed in Victoria, Australia, with Kris Mrksa adapting the novel and serving as an executive producer. Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker Christian Schwochow directed and executive produced the series.
"Last Seen" joins Apple's ever-expanding lineup of thrillers. That includes well-known titles like the workplace psychological thriller "Severance," which Apple recently acquired in a $70 million ownership transfer.
