Defeat your demons (we mean actual demons) in Brave Knight Rush

If you’re the type of mobile gamer that is not afraid of fighting against demons and spiris and all kinds of scary stuff, then you’d might want to get your hands (or phones) on this new game available for Android devices. Brave Knight Rush is an action adventure game, but the best part about it, aside from fighting off the hordes of demons bent on killing you, is that you get to fight with what is probably the best weapon of all: an actual fire-breathing dragon.

You, as the Brave Knight, have taken on the task of fighting off evil creatures who dared to infest the human kingdoms that were once peaceful and bountiful. You need to travel through forests, infected kingdoms and towns, and take on these skeletons, demons, cyclops, and other demons with the use of weapons like holy water, the silver dagger, and magic swords and arrows. But your secret weapon is of course your fire-breathing dragon that you can ride through the kingdoms and with its help, you can destroy entire armies.

The game has 40 missions, and it also has boss dragons and devil stages that you need to go through and earn more points in the process. You can also collect coins so you can buy items from the store that will upgrade your tools and weapons. The game’s 3D graphics are pretty neat, so aside from having fun just decimating your enemies, you do it with style.

You can download Brave Knight Rush from the Google Play Store for free. It supports both smartphones and tablets, as well as a number of gamepads. There are in-app purchases available as well.

T-Mobile Galaxy S4 receives new update to fix Stagefright vulnerability

T-Mobile is rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S4, it’s not a major update which brings any new features to the handset, but it’s a very important update nonetheless. The carrier has finally rolled out the Stagefright fix for this device so it’s imperative for users to download and install this update as soon as it lands on their handset.

Stagefright is the name of a security vulnerability that was discovered in Android recently, it can allow hackers to gain access to a target’s device only by sending a video clip with embedded malware through a MMS message. Google and Samsung have already rolled out the fix but carriers have held it up for several devices, it’s good to see that T-Mobile has now pushed it out for the Galaxy S4. This update moves the device up to baseband M919UVUFOH3 and weighs in at around 15MB. T-Mobile is rolling it out today and it should go live for all users across the United States soon enough.

Tired of memorizing passwords? A Turing Award winner came up with this algorithmic trick.

Passwords are a bane of life on the Internet, but one Turing Award winner has an algorithmic approach that he thinks can make them not only easier to manage but also more secure.

The average user has some 20 passwords today, and in general the easier they are to remember, the less secure they are. When passwords are used across multiple websites, they become even weaker.

Manuel Blum, a professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University who won the Turing Award in 1995, has been working on what he calls "human computable" passwords that are not only relatively secure but also don't require us to memorize a different one for each site. Instead, we learn ahead of time an algorithm and a personal, private key, and we use them with the website's name to create and re-create our own unique passwords on the fly for any website at any time.

Time to concentrate, block all those distracting apps and games with ClearLock

Ah yes, ClearLock is something that I really need in my life not just on my smartphone but also in my laptop so I can avoid checking out apps or programs that easily distract me during work. This productivity app prevents the user from wasting precious time from opening apps, reading articles, playing games, or checking various social media apps. ClearLock will definitely be a helpful tool because it can block all those distracting apps.

Activate ClearLock by choosing which Android apps you want to block for a certain period of time. Say for example you want to NOT check your Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram for some time, you can block them on the ClearLock interface that is actually simple and easy-to-use.

Wasting time happens more often than you're aware of so block distracting apps --and then maybe you can get things done on time. It's either you work or study... not 'work and play' or 'study and play'. You need to concentrate this time. Focus on whatever you're doing so block apps on your device--this way, you can increase productivity.

Distraction-free work or study time? That's possible with ClearLock. But if you're still tempted, I suggest you leave your phone in another table or room. Better yet, turn it off or keep it hidden somewhere then throw the keys. Naaah, you just need a little bit of discipline. Start with the ClearLock app and see if you still have self-control.

Samsung Gear S2 will be available from all four major US carriers

A little while back Samsung finally unveiled its new smartwatch, the one with the round design which we have been hearing about for quite some time now. The Gear S2 has now been officially launched, we now know what it really looks like and what it packs under the hood. Samsung has not yet confirmed availability and pricing details for this wearable device because that important bit of information is likely to be provided at IFA 2015. One of the company’s carrier partners in the United States has confirmed though that it will be carrying the smartwatch.

Verizon has just tweeted that it will sell both the Bluetooth and 3G-enabled variants of the Gear S2, it says that details about pricing and availability will be provided at a later date. It’s not the only major carrier in the United States to offer the smartwatch to its customers, SamMobile can confirm that all four major carriers in the country will sell the smartwatch in the near future. Expect to hear more details about pricing and availability after IFA 2015 later this week.
